On Sunday evening, the Russian Ministry of Defense acknowledged the deaths, injuries and families of its soldiers in Ukraine, according to what was reported by Al-Arabiya channel.

"A few Russian soldiers were captured in Ukraine," the ministry said in a statement carried by the Russian agency, without specifying their number or when.

It added that it announces deaths and injuries among the Russian forces during the war on Ukraine.

Kiev says that it inflicted "heavy losses" in the ranks of the Russian forces, speaking of the death of about "4,300 people".

The Russian army has not yet revealed the number of its losses among its forces, and the law prohibits any party other than the Ministry of Defense from publishing information about this, as this is a kind of “treason.”

On the other hand, the Ukrainian authorities launched a website that allows relatives of killed Russian soldiers to know their fate.

The site bore the name "200 rf.com" in reference to the code used for soldiers who died in the battle.

The site includes photos of passports or military documents of Russian soldiers killed in the invasion, as well as videos of Russian soldiers who were supposedly captured.

According to the data of the Ukrainian army, the Ukrainian forces have killed more than 4,300 Russian soldiers, and captured about 200, while Moscow has not revealed any number about its losses since the start of the war at dawn last Thursday.
