On Sunday, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky confirmed that his country had formed a foreign legion of volunteers from abroad to fight alongside the Ukrainian forces.
Zelensky said in a statement, addressing his words abroad, that this "will be the main evidence of your support for our country," noting that last night "was the most brutal on our country," accusing the Russian forces of bombing the country's infrastructure and civilian facilities.
The Ukrainian president added that Russian forces attacked everything, even ambulances, noting that his country still wanted dialogue with Russia in any place where hostility against it had not been shown.
