The German Ministry of Defense announced that Berlin had agreed to send 400 shells from the German army's reserves to Ukraine. :
Federal Chancellor of the Republic of Germany Olaf Scholz said, in a tweet posted on his account on Twitter, that his country will provide Ukraine with 1,000 anti-tank missiles and 500 "Settinger" surface-to-air missiles to be able to defend itself against the Russian invasion. :
The same German official added, "The Russian invasion of Ukraine represents a turning point, and it is our duty to do everything we can to support Ukraine in defending itself against the Russian army." :

The Russian Defense Ministry had confirmed that its forces had received orders to resume their offensive "in all directions", after orders were issued to stop negotiations with the Ukrainian government. :
"After Kiev declared its readiness for negotiations, active hostilities in the main directions of the operation were suspended," Russian Defense Ministry spokesman Igor Konashenkov said in a statement. After the Ukrainian side abandoned the negotiation process, today all units were ordered to continue their offensive in all directions in accordance with the operation plan. :
