Several regions of Ukraine are witnessing rapid military developments, due to the ongoing battles between the Russian and Ukrainian forces on multiple fronts.

The city of Kharkiv, the second largest city in Ukraine in the northeast of the country, witnessed during the past hours street fighting between Ukrainian forces and Russian forces, which the city authorities had announced on Sunday morning.

Fighting has continued in the city since the morning, with the appearance of abandoned or burning light armored vehicles in the streets, while scattered gunshots and explosions resounded throughout the city, whose streets were deserted while residents remained in their homes.

Although the most prominent military development today is the one that occurred in the city of Kharkiv, other regions and locations of Ukraine witnessed other military events, which were circulated by the media and social networking sites.
