The video shows fires burning inside the reactor, while the camera monitors the exchange of fire.
Russian forces prevented firefighting teams from reaching the station in central Ukraine and the largest in Europe, to put out the fire that broke out in it after Russian bombing targeted it and hit an electricity generating unit, according to the Ukrainian emergency services announced on Friday.
In a tweet on Twitter, Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba appealed to the Russian forces to stop bombing the station, warning that if it exploded, the explosion would cause a nuclear catastrophe ten times greater than the Chernobyl disaster.
"If it explodes, the explosion will be 10 times bigger than Chernobyl! The Russians should stop the bombing immediately, let the fire brigades reach it and allow the establishment of a security zone around it," Kuleba said.
The Zaporizhia plant, built in 1985 when Ukraine was still part of the former Soviet Union, includes six nuclear reactors and provides a large part of the country's electricity needs.
